SAFETY

GUIDE TO SAFE GUN HANDLING

The person using the pistol is responsible for preventing accidents. No matter what the purpose, one should never joke with a pistol.

Observe the safety rules and make it a habit.

Always consider your pistol to be loaded. Keep your pistol unloaded when not in use.

Make sure you use the appropriate cartridge and bullet type. Keep the pistol and cartridges away from moisture and dampness.

Do not store cartridges in the barrel chamber unless there is immediate danger.

If your pistol must be carried in the "ready to fire" position, close the safety latch. The safety catch must be in the "SAFETY" position for the pistol to be safe.

Do not aim your pistol at a live target or at objects you do not wish to shoot at.

Touch the trigger only to fire. Otherwise, do not keep your finger on the trigger.

When loading and unloading the pistol, point the barrel in a safe direction.

To avoid dangerous ricochets, do not shoot at hard surfaces or water.

Do not drink alcohol or take narcotics while carrying a pistol.

Be sure to use a clean and well-maintained pistol. Maintain it regularly.

Keep the pistol out of the reach of uninformed persons and children.
